GCB Cocoa

Our Responsibilities and Approach:

Deployed trained officers to monitor and manage all vehicle and personnel entry points, ensuring that only authorised individuals and contractors could enter the facility.

Conducted regular inspections of storage areas, loading bays, and processing zones to detect and deter any potential security or safety breaches.

Implemented safeguarding measures to prevent theft, tampering, or contamination of cocoa and other production inputs critical to the site’s operations.

Ensured that all security procedures aligned with BS 5839, PAS 79, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, supporting the site’s broader compliance with food manufacturing safety regulations.

Officers carried out checks on fire detection systems, escape routes, and fire extinguishers to minimise ignition risks and ensure readiness in case of emergency.

Maintained consistent surveillance across production areas, external boundaries, and high-risk zones to prevent unauthorised access or safety violations.

Provided immediate response to any incidents, equipment faults, or security concerns, documenting all findings in daily occurrence and inspection reports for client review.

Worked closely with production supervisors and safety officers to support HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) compliance and maintain smooth
operational workflows.

Assisted in site drills and safety briefings to ensure that all staff were familiar with fire evacuation routes, alarm systems, and response procedures.

Through active monitoring and consistent enforcement of safety policies, we helped minimise financial loss, operational disruption, and reputational damage.
